Women's Cascade Merino

With the help of some epic Kiwi ladies, we've been able to test, thrash and tweak this design to something we are really proud of.

As well as looking great the Cascade is a serious piece of hunting kit. Use as a next to skin layer, on its own or as a base layer, it does it all.

You will love the feel of our soft breathable Merino wool on your skin, it will keep you warm in the cold and cool in the heat.

The feeling of unzipping that extra-long zip as you grind up that massive ridge is bliss.

The merinos natural antibacterial properties mean you'll stay smelling great even after days of wear.

A must for any outdoor pursuits.

EXPLAINING WHAT 180 AND 200 GSM MEANS?

Here at BL Gear, we try not to get carried away with fancy terms Legends like you don't really care about when all you want is good gear, so here is a short breakdown of what GSM means.

GSM in fabric, also known as grams per square meter is simply the metric measurement of the weight of a fabric. This measurement helps one decide on the best weight to buy, considering the usage of the material at hand. The higher the GSM number, the denser the fabric will be.

JUST A SIDE NOTE...

We endeavour to be honest and transparent with our customers at all times, we think it's important to note that these are not designed for smashing through the thickest South Island monkey scrub, merino can be susceptible to getting ripped and tears easier than synthetics. Thrash the cr*ap out of this shirt but just keep this in mind.

*For reference, the models are wearing a medium
